The St. Thomas More Newman Center at Minnesota State University - Mankato
Why support the the Newman Center at Minnesota State University - Mankato?
Newman Centers were created to provide a place for students at public universities to also receive a Catholic education. While we may not be offering traditional classroom settings, assigning homework, or giving tests, we ARE educating students in their faith with an authentic Catholic worldview and how to encounter every soul with the heart of Jesus. We offer countless Bible studies, world-renowned Catholic speakers, retreats, conferences, discipleship programs, mission trips, community nights, charitable work, RCIA, and, of course, a place for the students to come and worship the Lord in daily Mass and Adoration. The mission of the Newman Center is deeply rooted in the Sacraments and is the launching point for young people into their parishes and communities.
The Newman Center isn't only a place for students to come for Sunday Mass, it is a home away from home. A place where they are encountering Jesus in an authentic way and building Christ-centered friendships.
The St. Thomas More Newman Center is where students’ hearts, minds, and souls are being transformed for Jesus Christ and His Church.
Thank you for your consideration in supporting the mission of the St. Thomas More Newman Center!
